To Whom It May Concern:
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the purpose of soliciting proposals for four (4) positions: one (1) Health Insurance Program Coordinator and three (3) Health Insurance Program Assistants. The Health Insurance Program Coordinator performs reconciliation of data between the Department's Health Insurance and Complaint System (HICS), health plans and employers. The Health Insurance Program Assistants perform updates to HICS using applications and monthly coverage reports, eligibility audits of health insurance applications, and validation of monthly health insurance coverage reports and exception reports. The proposed candidate(s) will assist in the development, testing, and training to implement new health insurance projects as well as support existing systems and processes.
The Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) is dedicated to serving over 531,000 members and 1,400 employers in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).
ETF intends to use the results of this process to award a contract. The proposed initial contract period is for one year beginning July 1, 2009. By mutual agreement of the Department and vendor, the contract may be extended by two (2) 1-year extensions.
The RFP is posted on the Employee Trust Funds Web site at http://etfextranet.it.state.wi.us All modifications and other information associated with the RFP will be posted on this web site. As such, interested vendors are encouraged to check this Web site for updates frequently. No other notification regarding modifications will be provided.
The deadline for receipt of proposals for the RFP is May 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM CDT. Late submissions will not be considered. Questions may be emailed to Mark Blank at mark.blank@etf.state.wi.us RFP number and title should be referenced in your email.
